Product Description

Brilliant Black BN is widely used as a food dye and pharmaceutical excipient. In addition, it also acts as an allosteric modulator and is generally used to reduce extracellular fluorescence. This is a bis-azo dye that provides a blackish violet shade in applications. It has the appearance of solid, fine powder or granules. Brilliant Black BN is used in food decorations and coatings, desserts, sweets, ice cream, mustard, red fruit jams, soft drinks, flavoured milk drinks, snacks, dry mixes and seasonings, fruit preparation, fish paste, lumpfish caviar and other foods. It usually comes as tetrasodium salt.
